The Daytona Beach News-Journal /LocaliQ awarded Carmen Ruiz, Franchisee at FASTSIGNS® of Daytona Beach, FL, with the 2023 inaugural “Inspirational Women of the Year” award.
Inspirational Woman of the Year recognizes an extraordinary individual who exemplifies exceptional philanthropism and community involvement. The recipient is a source of inspiration embodying the values of giving back, mentoring, coaching and providing remarkable leadership both voluntary and involuntary. This woman not only inspires others to make a difference but actively contributes to positive change, leading by example and leaving an undoubtable mark in the community.
The award was presented at a luncheon held Tuesday, October 17 at the local Museum of Arts and Sciences, where 40 women in both the Flagler and Volusia counties were recognized for their community and professional achievements.
