(Green Bay, Wis.) January 5, 2010 - FASTSIGNS® of Green Bay is excited to announce the official unveiling of its new, redesigned website, www.fastsigns.com/356.
"The website has been completely redesigned to make it more of a resource for people using signs and graphics to help meet their communications objectives," explained Larry Obermann, owner of the Green Bay FASTSIGNS. Local FASTSIGNS® Helps Create Awareness and Importance of 2010 U.S. Census
Promotional efforts to help bring federal dollars to Green Bay
(Green Bay, Wis.) January 21, 2010 – Local sign and graphics provider, FASTSIGNS® of Green Bay, is doing their part to promote participation in the 2010 U.S. Census and bring federal grant money to Green Bay. Even though the Census count is still a few months away, the community will already see FASTSIGNS' work on a Green Bay Transit Bus.
FASTSIGNS owner Larry Obermann was contacted by the Bureau to "wrap" one of the city busses with the designs of the 2010 U.S. Census. In addition to providing the normal public transportation, the bus will be used at some of the promotional outreach events planned by the U.S. Census Bureau.
"A project like this relies on teamwork from the very beginning to the delivery of final product," said Obermann. "In working on government projects, it's particularly important that all federal documentation and guidelines are met with extreme precision. The same level of work goes into each and every project that our center produces, big or small."
The striking graphics on the bus are more than just for viewing. It's the hope that they can rally the residents of Green Bay to fill out the census form when they receive it. Federal grant money is based on the area's population. However, if the community is undercounted, funds could be directed elsewhere.
This bus wrap emphasizes the importance of signs and their job to "inform." Residents might not be aware of the 2010 Census and its importance; and thanks to the graphics on the bus, commuters will know that the census is coming and their role is important.
