On Jan. 3, 2011, Susan Fortini, owner of the West Orlando FASTSIGNS^® sign and graphics center, celebrated the five year anniversary of when she first opened the doors of her center.

Located at 7154 W. Colonial Drive, the center provides a full range of sign and graphics solutions to area businesses, organizations and events, including banners, site and architectural signs, window and floor graphics, point-of-purchase signs, safety and identification signage, trade show displays, exterior signage and vehicle wraps.

“We couldn’t have been successful without the dedication of my center’s team or the support of our wonderful community,” said Fortini, who serves as a board member for the FASTSIGNS National Advertising Council (NAC). “Because of the patronage of our loyal customers, we were able to make it through the rough economy.”   

As a way of giving back, Fortini lends her services to several local organizations. One such organization is the Florida Citrus Sports Association. Fortini volunteers her time as a Bowl Scout, bringing college bowl games to Orlando to help boost the local economy.

“Being involved in the community is extremely important to me,” explained Fortini. “I feel that, as a local business owner, it is my duty to do something to give back to my customers and other local businesses.”

In addition to volunteering with the Florida Citrus Sports Association, Fortini was also appointed to the Pine Hills Business Redevelopment Task Force as the representative for the West Orange Chamber of Commerce. The local task force is devoted to conducting a marketing study and inventory to address the business redevelopment of the community. 

“In the future, we hope to continue our growth by offering new products and services to our clients,” said Fortini. “The team and I are very excited to reach this milestone and we want to invite the community to stop by and help us celebrate five years in West Orlando.”
