Duration

How long do you need the sign to last? Is it a permanent sign for your store-front or is it a temporary for-sale sign? Or is it perhaps a sign only meant to be used for a one-day event? This directly affects the material you need for producing the sign. In general, the more durable the material is, the more expensive it is. So it would not be very cost-effective to have an aluminum sign made for a one-day event. Our staff will be able to recommend to you the appropriate sign type if this information is provided.

Size and viewing distance

How big do you need the sign to be? Is it a directory sign that will be viewed up close or is it a signboard along the street that is meant to be viewed by people driving by? A sign that is too big means that you are paying an excessive amount of money. A sign that is too small may mean that you are completely wasting your money. Obviously it is beneficial to determine the right size of the sign that would serve its purpose. Sign location

Where will the sign be positioned? Is it an outdoor banner that will be hung up high (in which case wind slits will be advised to prevent wind damage) or is it an indoor sign installed against a wall? Or is it an outdoor sign that is placed in an area easily accessible by others (in which case anti-graffiti laminate will be recommended)?
