L'Atelier du Chocolat, a downtown Windsor business, has won a $10,000 sign and graphics makeover from FASTSIGNS of Windsor, which sponsored the local portion of the contest for area businesses. The chocolatier, owned by Debora Charron, was one of two winners in the contest which drew entrants from across North America in cities where FASTSIGNS has franchises. "We are thrilled that one of the winners was from right here in Windsor," said Donna Bilodeau, who owns the Windsor FASTSIGNS franchise, along with Jackie Raymond. Charron said Bilodeau and Raymond were "very supportive through the whole process. "They volunteered to print signs for my store advertising my entry and even suggested ways I could approach other business, family and friends to get votes," said Charron. Winning entries were chosen by a social media voting process. L'Atelier du Chocolat is located at 737 Ouellette Ave. suite 12.

FASTSIGNS Magnets for Meals on Wheels

Windsor's FASTSIGNS, a sign and graphic centre, has donated 20 car-door magnets to Amherstburg Community Services for its Meals on Wheels program. The magnets not only identify drivers' vehicles but also publicize the fast that ACS offers the program to area residents.

Joe Iera, marketing co-ordinator for FASTSIGNS, got the idea after volunteering as a driver for Meals on Wheels.

"We're happy to have been able to help in this way because as business owners it's important to give back to the community," said Jackie Raymond who owns FASTSIGNS along with business partner Donna Bilodeau.
