The Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association (OGCMA) came to FASTSIGNS^® of Ocean needing something to fit with its “Being a Piece of the Puzzle” theme for an upcoming fundraising dinner. The FASTSIGNS team said they could make an actual puzzle (a corporate event signage product) so, once the design was approved, the team began building a five foot by three and a half foot puzzle.

The puzzle’s interlocking pattern was drawn out by the center’s graphic designer and was then partially routed out of PVC. A high-resolution vinyl overlay print of the selected picture was applied and then each piece of the puzzle was trimmed by hand. Finally, the puzzle was mounted onto a numbered backboard to help those putting it together find the correct location for their numbered piece.

At the fundraising dinner, each attendee was given a piece of the puzzle and at the end of the night, each person put their piece in the puzzle to create the larger picture of the OGCMA’s auditorium. Everyone in attendance loved the custom puzzle. With help from the team at FASTSIGNS, the OGCMA was able to communicate its event’s message in a unique and memorable way.
