Boardman FASTSIGNS® Relocating this Summer, Celebrates 10 Years in Business
(Youngstown, Ohio) May, 2009 - Jay Summer, owner of the Boardman FASTSIGNS® sign and graphics center, has announced that his center will be relocating one mile from his current location to 6981 Southern Blvd., Suite D, with a scheduled opening in late August.
Summer made headlines in early 2009 after he acquired local sign business A & B Sign Pro, Inc. After 10 successful years of business, and with the acquisition of A & B Sign Pro, Summer realized that they had simply outgrown the existing location. "The business was growing at a rapid pace and our existing space wasn't accommodating to the business and our future growth plans," says Summer. "With higher demand from our customers and our planned addition of larger equipment, it was time to look for a new larger location that would allow for our growth."
The new location is over three times larger than the current one, going from 1,200 to 3,600 square feet of workable space. Features include a larger showroom, customer service and production area, and an indoor vehicle bay for vehicle graphic projects, which enables the team to schedule installs even in the dead of winter with no problem. The additional space also allows for future technology additions, including a large-format, flatbed UV printer. All of these improvements allow the center to meet customers' sign needs at a moment's notice.
Summer and his staff are eager to show all the great new capabilities in their new location later this summer, which will culminate with the celebration of 10 years serving the sign and graphics needs of the community. "We are so thankful to our customers who have supported us these last 10 years and look forward to being of greater service to our customers as a result of our move," says Summer. "We want to make sign buying a seamless and stress-free process for our customers. We have competitors who do part of what we do, but none who have the complete package. The team here is focused on service, speed and quality design, utilizing the latest technology for signs and graphics."
Involvement in the local business community has played an important role in how Summer runs his business. "It has been amazing to see the wide variety of customers we've acquired over the last 10 years," he says. They are involved in supporting a variety local charities and causes and believe that it's vitally important to give back to the community that has supported them and their growth.

Local FASTSIGNS® Acquires Competitor Sign Business, Celebrates 10 Successful Years
(Youngstown, Ohio) January 30, 2009—Jay Summer, owner of the Boardman FASTSIGNS® sign and graphics center, today acquired local sign business A & B Sign Pro, Inc.

It was ten years ago when Summer first opened the doors to his FASTSIGNS center in Boardman. Since then he has spent every year working to develop and adapt the business to meet the ever-changing needs of customers, while remaining current on the sign industry's rapidly changing technologies and practices. While many sign providers were still laying vinyl, FASTSIGNS of Boardman was an early adopter of wide-format digital printing and prides itself on being The Valley's leader in full-color, digital signs and graphics.
As Summer and his team move forward in this conversion, Mike Thomas, formerly of A & B Sign Pro, Inc. has accepted a position with FASTSIGNS. He will be active in the database and graphic file consolidation, ensuring a seamless transition for former A & B Sign Pro, Inc. customers.
