Testimonials

October 2008

Dear Linda and Fast Signs.....

I could say "thank you" a million times for the great work on the banner......I'm sure you have a very diversified clientele at your business, and I'm sure you have created important products for customers........but last night, your banner led 300 plus people on a march to end domestic violence and sexual assault for many who are silenced by abuse. This picture was taken by the Oshkosh Northwestern, and really captured the power of this event.

Thank you for your extra effort in this last week, especially with all of the changes, too. We will certainly utilize your company should we generate future sign/banner needs, and will steer others in your direction as well. Take care!

AGFA Flatbed NEWS RELEASE

Appleton FASTSIGNS® Center Introduces State-of-the-Art Technology

Owner expands center, purchases first-of-its kind new equipment in franchise network

APPLETON, WI (April 24, 2008)-As technology evolves in the sign and graphics industry, small business owners like Doug Brauer, owner of the Appleton FASTSIGNS®
sign and graphics center at 135 S. Casaloma Drive, must stay on top of the cutting edge innovations, by investing in equipment that will meet the evolving needs of customers.
To meet these needs, Brauer has purchased an AGFA Anapurna UV - the latest
wide-format flatbed printer available in the industry. This purchase positions his Appleton FASTSIGNS® center ahead of the local market and in-line with the ever-changing technology and innovation within the sign and graphics industry. In fact, his center is the very first in the entire FASTSIGNS® network to own this state-of-the art printer.
THE AGFA Anapurna wide format industrial inkjet printer is designed for printing photorealistic quality point-of-purchase displays, posters, banners, fleet displays, exhibition panels, stage graphics, construction announcements, ad panels and more. The
printer uses UV-curable inks that dry quickly to produce vibrant colors that will be able to withstand outdoor use for up to two to three years. With a print resolution of 720 x 1440 dpi, Brauer's team can produce projects up to 63 inches wide on a variety choice of roll or rigid media, quickly and with less waste.
In addition to the AGFA, Brauer also added a Gerber Sabre 408 series router to his enterprise. This piece of equipment cuts, engraves and routs designs from a variety of materials such as foam, acrylic, plastic, wood, aluminum, brass and copper.  It's ideal for creating durable signs for indoor and outdoor use on architectural, structural and electrical projects.
"Full color printers and routers, such as the ones we have added, used to be within the budgets of only large companies, but that's not the case anymore," Brauer said. "These new additions to our center have allowed us to offer high impact sign and graphic products to our clients in less time than before. By adapting and staying informed on technology trends we are able to provide a more cost-effective product to our customers
without sacrificing quality."
In order to accommodate the growing equipment additions and in anticipation of the next technological wave, the Appleton center has expanded and now occupies 8,000 square feet of space.
"We want to make sign buying simple for our customers," Brauer noted.  "And now we can accommodate each and everyone of our customer's needs. We have in-house graphic designers who can provide professional creative advice on projects, and much of the work involved can be done directly from the customer's own computer. Our cutting-edge technology ensures consistent quality for every sign project from start to finish."
