Locally-based Sign Dezign has converted to FASTSIGNS® of Athabasca, AB, under the direction of Ian Nichols. Sign Dezign has serviced the oil and gas industry for over 22 years and have been known for their industrial signs, decals, placards and tags. As a new FASTSIGNS location, they look forward to expanding their capabilities, services and product offerings to better support existing and new clients.
In addition to Ian who brings his background of several decades in the sign industry, his team includes his two sons, Coby Nichols and Quinten Nichols. Their team also consists of Phil Arellano and Teresa Malcolm. Phil Arellano is the team’s Graphic Designer who has been in the print industry for 25 years, while Teresa Malcolm has been the team’s Administrator for the past seven years.
Ian grew up in a small town just outside of Edmonton called Gibbons. With a family cabin not far out of town, he has been coming to the area throughout his life. After graduation, he moved to Athabasca and has been a resident for 32 years.
Ian decided to join the FASTSIGNS brand because of the strength of the FASTSIGNS brand and network in addition to the time-tested support he would receive in the areas of marketing, business, sales and new product research and development.
