Business Owners Taking FASTSIGNS of Santa Fe to New Heights.
(SANTA FE, NM) January 26, 2020 - FASTSIGNS® of Santa Fe, a locally owned and operated sign and graphics company, is now under the direction of Mark Engle and Josh Kimmel. The team also consists of Darin Dean, their Outside Sales Professional, who started January 4th. Keith Wasson, is the center’s new Inside Sales Representative. Javiar Arellano, a former designer at the center for seven years, has also re-joined the team.
Franchisee Mark Engle is a sign industry veteran who formerly owned another successful FASTSIGNS franchise in Ohio. Josh Kimmel brings nearly five years of experience with FASTSIGNS and a passion for sales and management. As an Outside Sales Representative in Cincinnati, he worked closely with his clients to bring their projects to life. Kimmel first worked for Mark’s FASTSIGNS center in high school doing installs and production work in Lima, Ohio.
“There is something very relaxing about production and the artistic approach to it,” said Kimmel. “I’d spoken with Mark about wanting to purchase my own franchise location in the future. When Mark shared this opportunity, we decided to jump on it as a team.”
Kimmel and his wife, high school sweethearts, moved cross country from Ohio to Santa Fe in late October 2020 with their energetic husky puppy, Gerty. Together, they are loving the Santa Fe area mountains as well as all the incredible hiking and outdoor activities. A talented singer and actress with experience in New York City, Allison Kimmel is thrilled to be living in such an artistic city as well.
Kimmel has a relentless work ethic that he credits to his father, a 10-year Navy Veteran that was in the Gulf War in the middle east. His father retired from the Navy when Josh was diagnosed with Leukemia. As a childhood cancer survivor, Josh strives to find organizations near him that support community members going through what he has.
“We are family oriented, and this FASTSIGNS location is very much a family business,” said Kimmel. “We love to take care of those around us, and my family looks forward to becoming a part of the Santa Fe community.”
They plan to be involved in the local chamber and additional community organizations. FASTSIGNS of Santa Fe is located at 720 St. Michaels Dr., Suite 2-I, Santa Fe, NM, 87505 and is open from Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
