FASTSIGNS of Winchester to Relocate to Historic Bottling Works Building

Author: FASTSIGNS® of Winchester, VA

FASTSIGNS® of Winchester, VA will move its offices to the historic Bottling Works building on Valley Avenue later this year.  The company now occupies approximately 2000 sq ft of retail space on S. Pleasant Valley Road. The move stems from FASTSIGNS unprecedented growth in the last two years and will enable FASTSIGNS to more than double their production space.

Owner Tracey Quick comments: “Quite simply, we've outgrown our existing space.  This move is an exciting development for us, and we are thrilled to be in a larger space and move into a building that highlights the architectural history and cultural importance of the location.”

The Bottling Works building was constructed in 1940 as the central Coca Cola bottling facility for Winchester VA and the surrounding area. The building was designed in the Art Deco style which was consciously selected by Coca Cola for its industrial buildings at the time because it conveyed modernity to the contemporary consumer of the early to mid-20th century.

In the mid-1960s The Bottling Works ceased bottling operations and became a distribution facility until 2006 when Coca Cola moved its bottling operation elsewhere. Scallan Properties acquired the building in 2007.
