FASTSIGNS® of Kankakee, IL was recently awarded one of six Women in Business by The Lifestyles of Kankakee County magazine
(KANKAKEE, IL) September 4, 2019 – Sonya Comer, franchisee at FASTSIGNS® of Kankakee, IL since she began the business with her husband David in 2014, was recently awarded one of six Women in Business by The Lifestyles of Kankakee County magazine to be featured in the July-August edition. She helps businesses solve their sign, graphic and visual communication challenges. Using their marketing and signage knowledge, FASTSIGNS
uses custom signs, banners and graphics to help each individual customer increase their business visibility.
The Women in Business honorees were chosen from hundreds of nominations, and nearly 200 attended the event to recognize the six honorees: Christy Alexander, AMITA Health St. Mary’s Hospital; Sonya Comer, FASTSIGNS® of Kankakee, IL; Melanie Devore, Bliss Bridal and Prom; Nicole Gessner, Rumors Salon and Day Spa; Kim Piggush, SA Piggush Financial Consultants; and Erika Schultz, Riverside Senior Life Communities.
Comer is a native of Casey, Illinois and a graduate of Casey-Westfield High School. Comer also teaches piano and music education at Olivet Nazarene University. She is involved in the Kankakee County Chamber of Commerce, Gathering Point Church and the Kankakee Valley Music Teachers Association. A resident of Bourbonnais, she and her husband and fellow franchisee, David Comer, have two daughters, Michaela and Madison.
