Community and Creativity at the Heart of Custom Sign Solutions 

The Challenge: 

When the Carlisle Family YMCA embarked on a significant renovation of their facility, FASTSIGNS was called upon to navigate signage solutions during the renovation and updating phases. The goal was to transform the space to be more welcoming while heightening visibility for this beloved community organization. 

The Solution: 

A renovation is a disruptive experience, involving construction zones and altered pathways. Temporary directional signage was created to easily direct traffic and reduce frustration. The FASTSIGNS team also served as project managers and created a color coded tracking system for the multi-phased large-scale renovation. Once construction was completed, FASTSIGNS handled the unveiling of the rebranded space with an impactful presentation. New graphics amplified the brand identity with window decals and a branded timeline wall. Interior and exterior dimensional letters enhanced visibility and ensured branding continuity. A colorful donor wall, featuring overlapping acrylic panels, acknowledged and thanked sponsors of the project. FASTSIGNS collaborated with the architect and general contractor to secure signage installations that met codes, particularly the structural reinforcement of the donor wall. 

The Result: 

The organization and visitors were able to seamlessly navigate both phases with detailed design, project management and installation. The visual solutions successfully branded the new YMCA location as a refreshed entity, enhancing its visibility and making the space feel inviting and up-to-date. Graphics underscored the YMCA’s over 150 years in the community, reinforcing the YMCA’s values and role in the community through an updated, vibrant aesthetic.
