In addition, the center was recently recognized as a top performing center at the 2020 FASTSIGNS Convention with an award that honors centers ranking 26 to 125 in sales in the FASTSIGNS network.

With a commitment to quality, timeliness and excellence, Galapo and her team have watched technology change rapidly since opening their doors. Galapo’s family purchased the Kansas City metro center in 1987. “The sign industry has evolved during my time with FASTSIGNS, as customers have transitioned from using the Yellow Pages and faxes to emails and Social Media,” said franchisee, Janet Galapo. “My center has been successful due to our dedicated and knowledgeable staff that has been with us long-term.”
One of their most exciting projects to date was the opportunity to creatively wrap the KC Streetcar for the Kansas City Chiefs. Galapo looks forward to a future where she will see growth and incorporate various new trends and textured materials in the architectural industry.
“If I was to give some advice to new business owners, I would share that even though the first few years can be challenging, do not give up. It truly gets better over time,” said Galapo. “I wholeheartedly value the other business owners and friends that I have made along the way.”
