High School’s Possibilities Realized Through Visual Solutions

The Challenge

To be the most competitive school in the region, Harlingen Consolidated Independent School District wanted to partner with FASTSIGNS® to come up with creative ideas to enhance some of the projects they had envisioned would set them apart. At the same time, they wanted to have a huge impact on the students’ learning and creativity, especially after returning to in-person school following the 2020 pandemic.

The Solution

FASTSIGNS took a regular school bus, wrapped it from top to bottom, and ultimately it became a technology classroom on wheels that can be taken anywhere. This unique school in Harlingen required a unique visual communication solution. The team installed huge floor-to-ceiling wall graphics that really stand out and create a setting for learning like no other. The school requested dimensional letters and logos for monument signs, walls, and even their podium, which FASTSIGNS was able to accomplish.

The Result

When the students saw the school’s transformation and what it offered, interest in enrollment grew. Dignitaries from the community, the region and the state came for the school’s grand opening ceremony and were impressed by the impact this school would make in the community and the future of all the students that attended. Even though FASTSIGNS’ products significantly increased awareness and transformed the space and bus, the highlight was seeing the faces of the kids when they saw the bus for the first time and walked into the school. This was especially touching after the kind of school year they all had in 2020. It was great to see all the collaboration with the partners involved to make the vision a reality.
