Signage Solutions that Punch Above their Weight
The Challenge
12RND Fitness approached SIGNWAVE® Newcastle to get them noticed ahead of their new concept fitness centre launch, as well as to create an interesting and welcoming décor that also served as a functional space for staff.
The Solution
Before the gym was operational, 12RND Fitness had a pop-up store within a shopping centre. They took the centre by storm with promotional materials, such as a custom-designed table cloth, a retractable banner, A-frames with changeable panels, flyers and other smaller items like business cards and posters. Within the gym, a motivating and fun environment for gym-goers was created with décor applications designed around the motivating concept of working out like boxer, Danny Green, using a full-colour wallpaper print and signage to highlight equipment and workout stations. Frosted windows were installed to ensure privacy for the members and staff, as well as feature the 12RND Fitness logo and a digital display.
The Result
The result was an exciting, successful grand opening and the gym received its first 50 members in around two to three weeks. “This project was so successful and rewarding for both the client and ourselves,” said SIGNWAVE’s June White. “We began and maintain such a great relationship with 12RND Fitness that we have continued to work with them on a monthly basis since launch in August 2016. The business has become so well-known and so popular that they are opening a second gym in Lambton, NSW and we have already started working on the signage. Time for round two!”
