FASTSIGNS fabricated the graphic display cabinet that houses the touch screen. Additionally, they created the content for the touch screen display.

FASTSIGNS® of Louisville, KY - Downtown has been supporting the Crusade for Children since the week they opened May of 1994, and Susan Cilone is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the WHAS Crusade for Children. Throughout the year, FASTSIGNS® of Louisville, KY - Downtown provides awards for volunteers, props and signs for the annual telethon, signs for fundraising events, graphics for Crusade vehicles, nameplates and name badges for board members, etc. Owner, Susan Cilone serves on the Board for the Crusade, volunteers at fundraising events, and provides additional signs and discounts for Fire Departments that raise money for the Crusade.

The Cilone’s son has also been instrumental in volunteer efforts with Crusade for Children since he was seven years old. He now serves on the Crusade Community Engagement Council. This year one of the center employees began a payroll deduction for the Crusade and donated $500 to the Crusade.

“Our team is supportive in every way. We go above and beyond from creative to fabrication. Several team members have volunteered to work roadblocks to collect for the Crusade,” said Susan Cilone. “My production manager requested a payroll deduction to save money to be donated to the Crusade. Every team member understands and supports the strength of our commitment to the WHAS Crusade for Children.”

The Crusade relies on a family of volunteers in order to raise money for the grant requests they receive each year. The 2018 year’s total was an increase over last year coming in with a final tote board of $5,750,000. The Crusade has a 65 year history of helping children with special needs. In that time the Crusade has raised more than 180 million dollars for children with special needs.

“We are part of a community of generosity, an expression of love that is larger than any one donor, any one volunteer or any one organization that supports the Crusade,” said Susan Cilone, owner at FASTSIGNS® of Louisville, KY - Downtown. “Together, we make a miracle happen each and every year.”
