In honor of their one-year anniversary, FASTSIGNS of Springfield recently hosted a Block Party on Thursday, August 22 from 4 - 6 p.m. at their center located at 6715 Backlick Road.
There was a great turnout from the community and neighbors due to the support of the Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce and Executive VP of FASTSIGNS Inc, Mark Jameson.
From networking to enjoying local food vendors, the Block Party hosted an array of activities. Free drink tickets were provided by Delia’s. Team Washington Domino’s Pizza offered a buy one get one free promotional opportunity during this time (for walk-in customers only). Benjamin Moore/Jerry’s Paint & Wallpaper had face painting and provided attendees with swag bags. Each participant of the event contributed a giveaway in person, such as Illusion Day Spa offering 20 percent off full hair services.
Attendees were encouraged to submit their business cards for prize drawings that took place every 15 minutes during the event. For another fun touch, FASTSIGNS had a Winks Photobooth onsite for fun photographs for all attendees.
Other local food vendors included Dunkin’ Donuts, Taiko Sushi and Sabor Boliviano and additional participants of the event included Batteries Plus, Ria Money Transfer, and Backlick Dry Cleaners. Sponsors that donated to the FASTSIGNS raffle were Deluge Health Spa, Yard House, Dave and Busters, Maggianos, Ria, and Single Baked Sweets.
