Bringing Faith to Life: Transforming Learning Spaces with Sign Design

The Challenge:

Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School wanted to transform their outdated space into an updated and more engaging learning environment to inspire and excite students. The school’s interior design firm had previously worked with FASTSIGNS®, and for this project, they joined forces again to combine their out-of-the-box ideas with FASTSIGNS’ signage expertise to meet their creative goals.

The Solution:

This multi-phased project included a wide variety of custom materials and visuals. Dimensional wall graphics using acrylic, PVC and paint mask on various sections of the hallway made the space aesthetically pleasing and brought the brand, and different saints, to life. Wayfinding and blade signs were produced to easily guide students, parents and visitors with classroom identification and navigational information. The blade signs, hung from leather straps, were made of routed 12mm PVC with printing included. FASTSIGNS also tackled a difficult wall installation for the blade signs by pivoting with a hardware adjustment. The team used back-painted clear acrylic signage on standoffs to create informational and inspirational signage on walls throughout the school. They also installed additional vinyl applications throughout the space to bring the brand to life.

The Result:

FASTSIGNS met the timelines and the budget, and the design firm and the school were thrilled with the outcome. The transformation brought the school’s brand to life and made the space vibrant and fun for the students, teachers, staff, and their visitors.
