New Signage at Scale Refreshes Upscale Retail and Dining Destination  

The Challenge:

Royal Palm Place, a prime shopping and dining hub in  the heart of downtown Boca Raton, had a vision to  enhance the visitor experience. The goal was to create  a comprehensive visual plan for improving marketing  and navigation across its 19-acre property. With over  90 diverse shops and stunning Florida architecture,  a large-scale branding and wayfinding update would  help guests navigate and discover more of the retail  destination’s offerings.  

The Solution:

The shopping center’s branding was  revitalized with a fresh signature  branding color and visual identity that  complemented the lush greenery of the  Florida landscape and the captivating  style of the buildings. Large and  colorful seasonal banners, intended to  be updated five times annually, were installed across  entrances, the striking clocktower and key retail corners.  The team updated ten monument signs, featuring  current tenants—a service FASTSIGNS continues to  provide. Consistent branding extends across the parking  lot, pole banners, event A-frames and street signs.  The team installed two digital screens, which can be  easily and affordably updated with tenant changes as  well as 12 cutting-edge outdoor directories for better  navigation. The refresh also included updating blade  signs, adding channel letters and adorning buildings with  international flags.  

The Result:  

Tenants are experiencing higher sales, attributed  to the surge in visitors from the improved visibility,  traffic flow, parking availability and intuitive visitor  wayfinding, making navigation and access easier for  everyone. This large-scale retail environment now  boasts a comprehensive signage strategy that not only  complements its upscale ambiance but also significantly  enhances the shopping and dining experience.  The result has been so successful, the property is  fully leased, bustling with tourists and locals. The  customer believes digital signage was a gamechanger,  revolutionizing the way information is conveyed and  contributing to the overall success of the property.
