Jacki Robison has been promoted to manage FASTSIGNS® of Lancaster, PA after a year of demonstrating outstanding leadership qualities.
The timing was just right for FASTSIGNS® of Lancaster, PA’s newest employee to shine as the center’s largest client, Lancaster General Hospital, merged with Penn Medicine and needed a complete rebranding. Stretching herself to learn every detail of the communications solutions FASTSIGNS could provide to Lancaster General Hospital, Robison relied on her previous experience managing projects and maintaining clear communications among all the people involved.
In addition to taking the lead for Lancaster General Hospital’s yearlong project, Robison managed and oversaw the direction for other key accounts, according to FASTSIGNS® of Lancaster, PA owner Clint Ehlers.
“A year ago when we hired Jacki, our largest client launched a major re-branding initiative,” Ehlers said. “Jacki stepped right up and collaborated with them before successfully managing their very complex and comprehensive graphics solutions plan.”
“Working for Lancaster General Hospital was an amazing experience,” said Robison. “Because it was so complex and spread across so many locations, it was really important to be organized and understand the importance of hitting deadlines and goals. Working with our wonderful clients and our great production team, who really work wonders, made the yearlong project seamless.”
“In what was my first year, I was immersed in every type of sign I could ever imagine learning about. This meant I got to learn very quickly about everything from large backlit electrical signs, campus wayfinding signs in all their various forms, and window graphics to vehicle wraps, ADA signs and so much more. The result of our work looks amazing and is something I’m very proud of that our team accomplished.”
Robison credits FASTSIGNS customers for their vision and approach to communications for the overall success of projects like this. She said Lancaster General Hospital has very high standards, requiring everyone to be constantly mindful of issues like health and safety regulations, clear consumer communications, etc. In addition, LGH is very open to new opportunities and materials/processes for their interior signs and graphics. From textured wallpaper murals in their physical rehabilitation centers to multi-dimensional acrylic donor recognition boards, FASTSIGNS was able to bring new solutions for them to achieve their objectives.
Jacki fills the position after an 8-month outside search looking for the right candidate.
“We were looking for someone who can manage the great staff we have here as well as execute the vision we have for the center moving forward, and Jacki fits that role perfectly,” Ehlers said.
“I really enjoy working with customers, and as the front of the house here, I liked working with the production team to help projects move fluidly from order to fulfillment,” Robison said. “As the center manager, my role will encompass all aspects of the center’s functions, to include inside and outside sales, production, and the implementation of procedures to increase efficiencies and value to our clients’ businesses.”
Robison said learning about such a great variety of visual communications options helps her identify possibilities for all FASTSIGNS' customers. She now understands what considerations are important to find the best solutions for a customer’s communications message goals as well as location, including what is involved in the production of different materials and processes.
