When executive chef and operating partner Jeremy Critchfield took over the Historic Stone House Restaurant, Inn & Tavern, he had a vision to take the historical bed and breakfast to new heights. Today, he has expanded the business to become one of the area’s most popular travel destinations, including fine dining, a barbeque smoke house, full service catering and a custom butcher shop.
From the start, FASTSIGNS® of Uniontown, PA helped Critchfield create the visual branding for all aspects of the Historic Stone House and provided custom signage and graphics to promote the business and its events. Out of a network of more than 650 independently owned and operated FASTSIGNS locations worldwide, FASTSIGNS® of Uniontown, PA received the first place prize in the Customer Solutions Awards for their work with the Historic Stone House Restaurant, Inn & Tavern.
“It’s truly a pleasure working with Jeremy and the Historic Stone House team, and watching their business grow,” said Brenda Stipanovich, owner of FASTSIGNS® of Uniontown, PA. “We’ve been providing all of their visual communications solutions for a few years now—from road signs, vehicle wraps, menu boards and promotional items, down to the labels on their own homemade sauces and rubs and Bloody Mary mix.”
FASTSIGNS® of Uniontown, PA first began working with the Historic Stone House to create their logo and provide business cards, directional signs and custom vehicle wraps and fleet graphics.
As the Historic Stone House grew, so did their need for signage. FASTSIGNS® of Uniontown, PA has provided a variety of signs and graphics such as branded canopies, banners, flyers and menu boards for the many events held throughout the year, including the barbeque smoke house’s summer “Bike Nights,” which can attract over 200 bikers to the location. As the catering business expanded, FASTSIGNS created the “Backyard to Blacktie Catering” logo and incorporated it throughout their visual communications.
Most recently, Critchfield opened the butcher and provisions store, which FASTSIGNS® of Uniontown, PA also created the logo for and branded the location with a variety of retail signage including window graphics, billboards, refrigerator graphics, employee t-shirts, branded aprons, table throws and banner stands.
“It was important to the chef that each division of his business has a separate but similar look and feel in their branding and logos,” Stipanovich said. “We look forward to continue helping bring his vision to life using creative ideas and comprehensive visual communications solutions.”
