FASTSIGNS® of Lawrence, KS, a local sign and visual graphics company owned by Matt Herynk, was named a runner-up for the “Show Us How You Care” Award at the 2018 FASTSIGNS Annual Convention.
(LAWRENCE, Kan.) Feb. 26, 2018—FASTSIGNS® of Lawrence, KS, a local sign and visual graphics company owned by Matt Herynk, was named a runner-up for the “Show Us How You Care” Award at the 2018 FASTSIGNS Annual Convention. A part of the FASTSIGNS Cares philanthropic initiative, this recognition acknowledges FASTSIGNS franchisees who demonstrate significant charitable giving efforts in their communities throughout the year.
In conjunction with the award, a donation of $250 was made on behalf of FASTSIGNS® of Lawrence, KS to a local charity of their choice: The Children’s Shelter, Inc., a nonprofit social service agency that provides a variety of services designed to strengthen families and children who are experiencing major life changes.
“As a local business owner, I believe it’s so important to give back to the community in any way we can,” said franchisee Matt Herynk. “Our team is proud to support The Children’s Shelter, Inc. and admire all that the organization does for families and children in Lawrence in the surrounding areas.”
In 2017, The Children’s Shelter, Inc. rebranded their image and relocated to a new facility. FASTSIGNS® of Lawrence, KS was there to help by providing new signs and graphics at a discounted rate, which included a monument sign, donor recognition plaques, identification signs and promotional signage for The Children’s Shelter, Inc.’s ribbon cutting event.
