Daytona Beach Chamber and the Urban Chamber of Commerce recently joined efforts and signed an official document of support together.

After conversations representatives in these organizations had regarding how to more effectively serve their business community in an inclusive and unified way, this came about.

The Daytona Chamber chamber Chairman shared how programming in their Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Council has been created over the last year. It is led by Carmen Ruize, franchisee at FASTSIGNS® of Daytona Beach, FL. This partnership with the Urban Chamber is the next chapter for a sustainable future and collaborative component for these efforts.

From cross promotion to event and program attendance, members in each organization will be able to expand their involvement as a result of this partnership. Dr. Kennedy E. Jacobs Sr., who is the president of the Urban Chamber shared how this partnership will add increased value to the local business community and urban sector.
