FASTSIGNS® of Peoria Expands, Acquires Sign Manufacturing Company

Frank Smith, owner of FASTSIGNS® of Peoria, IL, has acquired Cook Signs, a sign fabrication company that was based out of Deer Creek, Illinois and owned by Gary Cook and his late son, Gary Cook Jr. who started the business.

“I’m very excited about this new expansion and welcoming Gary Cook to the FASTSIGNS® of Peoria, IL team,” Smith said. “Acquiring Cook Signs provides additional business development, sales, design, production and installation resources to allow us to be one of the most capable and experienced sign companies in Central Illinois.”

FASTSIGNS® of Peoria, IL has obtained Cook Signs’ production equipment, bucket truck and delivery vehicle. Gary Cook Sr. has also joined the FASTSIGNS team, bringing more than 35 years of experience and expertise in sign fabrication and installation. In addition, FASTSIGNS® of Peoria, IL purchased the neighboring building and will be expanding to double their production space.

To accommodate the company’s growth, Smith plans to hire additional staff, growing the team to eight employees.

Smith added, “We’re seeing exciting growth and development in Peoria and the surrounding communities, and we’re thrilled to be a part of it by helping other local businesses and organizations with their signage, branding and visual marketing needs.”
