FASTSIGNS® of Ventura Recognized for Charitable Giving

FASTSIGNS® of Ventura, CA, a local sign and visual graphics company owned by Madhu and Saurabh Bajaj, was named a runner-up for the “Show Us How You Care” Award at the 2018 FASTSIGNS Annual Convention. A part of the FASTSIGNS Cares philanthropic initiative, this recognition acknowledges FASTSIGNS franchisees who demonstrate significant charitable giving efforts in their communities throughout the year.

“As local business owners, we believe it’s so important to give back to the community in any way we can,” said Saurabh Bajaj, who co-owns FASTSIGNS® of Ventura, CA with his wife, Madhu. “Whether it’s through signage donations, event sponsorships, monetary donations or volunteering, our team is proud to work on the various charitable projects that we provide and make a positive impact in the community.”

Community organizations and philanthropies FASTSIGNS® of Ventura, CA has worked with include Ventura Chamber of Commerce, Boys and Girls Club of Greater Ventura, Ventura Education Partnership, FOOD Share of Ventura County, Straight Up Ventura County, Planned Parenthood California Central Coast, National Police Dog Foundation and India Friends Association, among others. 

Additionally in 2017, FASTSIGNS® of Ventura, CA offered a grant for trade show signage valued at $1,000. Sixty-two local nonprofit organizations applied. The grant was ultimately awarded to Straight Up Ventura County, and the remaining applicants were offered a 50 percent discount on the package.

When owners Madhu and Saurabh Bajaj are not at their FASTSIGNS business, they can be found participating in various organizations. Madhu serves as president of the Executive Board for the Ventura Education Partnership, where she helps build new community and business connections, and evaluates and energizes programs to bring more resources to classrooms. She is also a board member of Planned Parenthood California Central Coast. Saurabh serves on the board of Boys and Girls Club Greater Ventura and the Ventura Chamber of Commerce, and remains very active with the Rotary Club of Ventura serving as Vocational Services Chair.
