The Challenge

Startup business owners Julie and Jean Summers came to FASTSIGNS® for help in building a marketing concept and branding around their cute marshmallow character.

 

The Solution

Sugar Rush Marshmallows creates their sweet treats from scratch using all-natural ingredients. Marshmallows are individually cut, sorted and bagged by hand, then sold at Orlando’s East End Market and other pop-up venues.

To connect with buyers, additional marshmallow characters were designed and used in their branded graphics. Contour- cut labels and bag decals adorn their packaging, and business cards, banners and yard signs help build awareness and generate interest for their sugary fare.

Their mobile trailer was transformed with a colorful, whimsical wrap that incorporates their unique Sugar Rush characters. When at events, their magnetic chalkboard serves as a menu board featuring that day’s flavors and offerings. To create a more engaging experience, logo decals and branded handheld fans are giveaways at outdoor events, and a custom photo frame can be used by people posing with the Sugar Rush characters. For returning customers, printed loyalty cards get stamped for future rewards after each visit.

The Result

With signs and visual graphics as distinct as their confectionaries, Sugar Rush Marshmallow’s personality came alive in their product and branding. Their sales, community awareness and brand recognition have increased. What started in a tent at a farmer’s market is now sold from a mobile food trailer.
