(BUFORD, GA) May 29, 2020 - FASTSIGNS of Buford-Suwanee, a locally owned and operated sign and graphics company, is now open under the direction of 17-year Gwinnett County residents Lyn and Bart Dorough. As franchisees at FASTSIGNS® of Cumming, GA for the past 11 years, they decided to expand to open a new center location in Buford.
Bart Dorough has a professional background in Corporate Finance for 15 years as a retail and commercial banker who worked with SunTrust Robinson Humphrey as well as Wells Fargo in Atlanta. On a different note in his background experience, Dorough spent time as a touring musician with the Grammy award-winning group Sugarland.
With both a love of music and a strong business background, his combined skill sets complement each other perfectly. As a result, he is able to communicate the importance of signs and graphics for business success as well as using his artistic acumen to deliver creative solutions to his customers.
“We have enjoyed our FASTSIGNS® of Cumming, GA location and are excited to have an opportunity to expand into the neighboring territory of Buford,” said Bart Dorough. “We were eager to grow business and also bring proven sign experience into our new location. In addition, we look forward to providing more employment opportunities with this business expansion.”
Dorough still makes time for his musical passion, and once it is safe to do so, he will resume playing around town in addition to teaching guitar and bass to young musicians in the area.
He is also an active Rotarian and is currently serving as President for his Rotary Club in 2020. Bart and Lyn Dorough are also involved with several local chambers, children's elementary school and various sporting activities.
FASTSIGNS of Buford is located at 1961 Buford Hwy NE, Suite A/B and is open from Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The center is conveniently located on Buford Hwy just north of the intersection of Buford Hwy and South Lee Street, across from the CVS.
