Local businessman and celebrated musician launches FASTSIGNS sign and visual communications company to support other businesses in the fast-growing East Nashville area.
“I moved here in 2014 because of the exciting energy Nashville has,” said new owner Les Sabler. “Naturally, the strong music industry is enticing, but so is the growing and varied business realm.”
Having moved to Nashville after a successful career in commercial real estate in Florida which flourished alongside his music career, Sabler dove right into the Nashville music scene by performing the National Anthem with vocalist Scat Springs in the 2015 Independence Day celebration on the main stage on Lower Broadway. As he had in Florida, though, Sabler sought an opportunity that would allow him to continue both his business and music pursuits.
“The FASTSIGNS center in Tampa did an excellent job for many years with the 3.8 million square feet of commercial property I managed there,” said Sabler. “It became an easy decision after speaking with the FASTSIGNS owner in Tampa, doing some more general research, and finally contacting FASTSIGNS International.”
Sabler said he likes the business model of supporting other businesses’ growth, as he did in Florida, and is excited to provide the range of products that only FASTSIGNS can offer. His center can help local businesses as they grow and communicate their messages and extend their brands using comprehensive visual solutions — from exterior building signs and dimensional letters, interior décor graphics and wayfinding signs to festival exhibits, point of purchase displays, digital signage, promotional items and more.
Launching his FASTSIGNS during such a dramatic period of growth in Central and East Nashville required the right mix of creativity and business acumen that Sabler possesses. And, he’s put together a team that has the kind of diversity that reflects Nashville itself. His graphic designer is a graduate of the highly acclaimed Rhode Island School of Design, and his visual communications specialist is a Navy veteran with a background in the finance industry.
