FASTSIGNS® of Las Vegas, NV - Northwest, a local sign and graphics provider, is now open under the direction of John and Michelle Phillips. John comes from a background in the Automotive manufacturing world.
In the automotive industry, performance time is measured in seconds and each second has a dollar value attached to it. “We had a saying that ‘slow is an expensive luxury’,” said John. “So I have a deep understanding of the FASTSIGNS tagline of ‘More than fast, More than signs’.”
Michelle comes from the Logistics and Customer Service world. She understands that customers like to be updated about the status of their shipments or projects. She also has a natural aptitude for cultivating strong customer relationships.
Michelle and John first moved to Las Vegas in 2012 from Detroit MI. We were drawn to Las Vegas for a vacation but after feeling the excitement of Las Vegas and the many scenic and historic National and State Parks within a short distance, we decided to make this our home.
The center is located in the Centennial Hills sector of NW Las Vegas, a major new growth sector in the city of Las Vegas. The western boundary of Centennial Hills is the Red Rock Preservation Area, which is a planned community with hiking, bicycle and equestrian trails.
“After 34 years in the Automotive and Heavy Industrial field, I needed a change in my life but was not ready to retire yet,” said John. “Joining a franchise gives me the support and training to try something new and exciting while still using some of my former skill set.”
Additional factors that sold the Phillips included the high ratings and awards the franchise receives, the high franchisee satisfaction rate and the training opportunities through FASTSIGNS University.
The Phillips plan to join the active group, the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, as well as the Nevada Contractor Association, the Summerlin Rotary Club and others.
“Michelle and I believe strongly in supporting community functions as much as possible,” said John. “We know that the connections and investments we make in our community serve to enhance and strengthen the area, making it a better place for everyone to live, work and enjoy leisure time.”
