We are excited to announce the newest addition to the FASTSIGNS of Pittsburgh! Welcome Phil Rock!
Phil graduated with a degree in Graphic Design from West Virginia University during a period when the graphic design industry was beginning to expand significantly. Despite the growing interest in the field, there were limited job opportunities, resulting in a high supply of graphic designers. Nevertheless, Phil secured a position at a sign shop in Tempe, Arizona, which was part of a newly established franchise. This role allowed him to engage in all aspects of the business, from site surveys all the way to installations.
After a few years, Phil returned to the Pittsburgh area, where he gained experience by working in several local sign shops. This eventually led to a warehouse position with a sign supply distributor. Over time, Phil was ready for new challenges and sought to leverage his comprehensive knowledge of the sign industry alongside his strong interpersonal skills by transitioning into customer service and sales roles.
Unexpectedly, that company underwent significant downsizing, however, this opened the door for Phil to join us here at FASTSIGNS of Pittsburgh, where he continues to build on his experience in the sign industry as a member of the inside/outside sales team.
