Ellen Bilello Leaves Pharmaceutical/Medical Device Industry to Become Her Own Boss
(WESTON, Flo.) February 21, 2023 - FASTSIGNS® of Weston, a locally owned and operated sign and graphics provider, is now open at 1649 Bonaventure Blvd., Weston, FL 33326.
Ellen Bilello, franchisee at this new location, came from a previous career in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Industry where she was an Associate Director responsible for the Sunrise Clinical Packaging Site and Global Distribution of Clinical Studies. Her team also consists of Raj Marajh, Asst. Manager and Visual Communications Specialist. Raj's previous career was also in the Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Industry where he was responsible for Facilities and Mechanical Management.
Christopher Darbouze is the team’s Graphic Designer, who has a bachelor’s degree from Florida Atlantic University as well as experience in the sign industry. Joe Bilello, Ellen’s son, who has strong technical and sales experience, is the Visual Communications Specialist/Outside Sales Representative. He is completing his bachelor’s degree from Nova Southeastern University and is starting a master’s program for his MBA.

What prompted Ellen Bilello to purchase a FASTSIGNS center was the constant change she experienced in her former career. In the Pharmaceutical Industry, she was constantly being bought over by different companies and having to relocate her plant or her family. The final takeover involved moving out West.
“At that point, I decided to build something for myself. With FASTSIGNS, it was love at first sight, because I still get to make things every day! And all the franchisees I spoke to all had positive reports about the franchise and franchisor.”
She is a proud Member of the Weston Florida Chamber of Commerce as well as a member of the Impact Leaders of Florida, a networking and referral subgroup of the Chamber.
