Custom Visuals Boost Efficiency and Employee Morale for Global Manufacturer

The Challenge:

Mitsubishi-Trane, a recognized leader in HVAC technology, believed a new signage strategy for their new 400,000-square-foot facility would strengthen the company’s supply chain efficiency. The vision was to strongly brand the new facility while managing the large- scale trucking traffic strategically located just off the interstate. Additionally, the customer sought to organize inventory and impress visitors by leveraging their brand identity built on technology and innovation.

The Solution:

A multi-faceted, custom solution was developed, branding the large-scale exterior of the building with channel letter signs and die-cut vinyl lettering at the entrance. Temporary signs were installed on U-channel posts to direct truck traffic more effectively during construction. To enhance privacy and to reinforce the brand, frosted film with die-cut logos were installed throughout the warehouse on all glass surfaces within the building. Branded frames and plaques were used to transform the lobby into a welcoming space. Wall murals were strategically placed throughout the facility to leverage the company’s reputation. To assist with inventory management, the team created barcode signs that were both functional and enhanced operational efficiency. Office cubicle signs were designed and installed, ensuring each area was clearly marked and contributed to the overall feel of an organized, modern environment.

The Result:

The solutions significantly improved traffic management around the facility and amplified the image of the Mitsubishi-Trane brand. The New Jersey location has become a showcase for the company and is frequently toured by new clients due to its efficient layout and impressive branding. The project not only fulfilled the client’s objectives but also set a new standard for how graphics can enhance both the functionality and professionalism of a training, distribution and warehouse center for this company.
