New Apartment Complex Signage Moves in to Better Meet Needs

The Challenge 

Slate Real Estate Partners was developing a new apartment complex–Durham Heights Apartments–in the Houston Heights area. They needed a project manager for their signage to design, produce and install their exterior signage along with all of their ADA signs and compliance signs throughout the property. 

The Solution 

Slate Real Estate Partners provided the brand guide and the architectural drawings for the property. FASTSIGNS® created a comprehensive solution, inspired by the property branding, that complemented the interior finishes throughout the property. They worked closely with the client and the general contractor to ensure that signs were produced and installed in time for inspections. Prior to the property opening, temporary mesh banners built awareness of the properties soon available for lease. An array of other signs were created including room ID signs, unit ID signs, wayfinding signage, Fire Department Connection (FDC) signs, address signs, garage signage, future resident parking signs, handicap parking signs, and amenity policies. The FASTSIGNS team also designed, permitted and installed exterior channel letters and a canopy. One final creative piece was a custom-sized raceway for the front of the canopy to ensure the raceway would blend into the surface it was mounted on. 

The Result 

FASTSIGNS was able to meet Slate Real Estate Partners’ needs and timeline to ensure they were ready for inspections so that the new residents were able to move in.
