FASTSIGNS Leveraged Epson SureColor S-Series and F-Series Wide-Format Printers to Create Award-Winning, Modern, Dynamic Destination for Red Rocks Visitors
CENTENNIAL, CO — August 5, 2026 — FASTSIGNS® DTC, a premier local visual communications provider located in Centennial, has officially been named the winner of the 2026 Digital Output's annual Application of the Year awards.
Digital Output’s Application of the Year award showcases innovative, challenging and unique projects that utilize wide-format digital printing technology. The prestigious national accolade recognizes FASTSIGNS DTC’s work for the extensive, multi-phase transformation of the world-famous Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre visitor center. This honor follows the FASTSIGNS team's previous success, having won the 2025 FASTSIGNS Customer Solutions Contest Grand Prize Award for the same project.

Partnering with general contractor Haselden Construction, FASTSIGNS DTC tackled a massive overhaul of a space that hadn’t been updated in over 20 years. The project required the creation and installation of over 15 different sign types, including commemorative plaques, vibrant wall graphics, directional signage, outdoor pylons and rotating artist posters.
The six-month installation process took place during active construction and while the legendary concert venue was fully open to the public, requiring the FASTSIGNS team to work meticulously around crowds of visitors.
To achieve the extreme quality standards demanded by the high-profile venue, the center invested in new, state-of-the-art technology, including a SureColor® F6470H 44-inch dye-sublimation printer and specialized heat presses. The team produced over 850 square feet of Dreamscape textured wallcoverings using their workhorse SureColor S80600 64-inch solvent printers, alongside 700 to 900 square feet of Chromaluxe metal prints to ensure long-term durability and brilliant glare reduction in the heavily trafficked center. The project showcased the ability to produce consistent, high-quality graphics across a wide variety of substrates while maintaining efficient production timelines.

The final result successfully modernized the visitor center while deeply respecting Red Rocks' rich, outdoor music history. The City of Denver, the designers and the contractor were so thrilled with the flawless execution that FASTSIGNS DTC has been retained to continue updating and maintaining the displays.
