He Has Earned My Future Business
((Caveat emptor to the review:
(My original business idea was to upgrade the signs for our business [that I had done very sloppily and using bare basics on my mobile device, complete with misspelling and mistakes, see attached photo] -
This was the original reason I had called this sign company up)))
I spoke to Shane (that I DID NOT KNOW was the OWNER until the business side of the call was concluded), and I can say with reverence and EXTREME intellectual prowess, was EXTREMELY knowledgeable about the products and services his business had to offer.
I spoke to him regarding acquiring signs for MY business, (yard signs and what have you), and he offered to research sizes, types, pricing, etc. and then offered to call me back.
I am usually VERY skeptical 🫤 of "call backs" because in MY experience it shows a petty need to get off the phone and "pass the buck."
Regardless, I politely offered my (out of state) cell phone number and said that I would anticipate a call back.
(I never ACTUALLY EXPECTED a call back!)
That said, within a few hours (closer to an hour and a half), I DID get a call back and the options and availability were discussed.
He ALSO offered to throw in free components with the signs (the wire frame to hold them) and I was not expecting this.
The price was fair and the order was satisfactory.
I explained that any decision had to be also approved by my brother (it's a family business), and I asked if I was missing anything... ideas, advertising, etc.
Most people, having not "acquired a sale," would have more than likely disengaged.
Instead, Shane suggested mobile magnet-type advertising, and to say I felt idiotic for overlooking it would be an understatement. I also inquired as to the successful nature of said advertising, repeat business, etc. and Shane was more than both articulate and able to answer ALL my long-winded questions.
He stayed patient, calm, and positive throughout both phone calls without EVER rushing me or asking for a credit card number; (this says a lot because I am a talkative personality)!
I did not have to wait exceedingly long for my quotes and my questions were answered almost as fast as I had posed them.
I do not review many businesses and certainly not that often, but based solely on my two interactions, I can say with certainty that he has earned my current (and future) business.
SHANE, it was an absolute pleasure, and to the readers of this review:
Only at the END of the second call did I ask if he was an associate or a manager.
Imagine MY surprise to find out he was the owner! 😀
This is exactly why reviews are important; so I can share an open and honest recollection of an experience with a LOCAL BUSINESS that, before today, I knew more about cardiology than I did this establishment.
Translated: I knew less than nothing and now I feel I have made a lifelong proud association with a local business.
Pardon my gusto and long-winded review.
In short? 5 stars.
