$50,000 Live Well Foundation of South Lake grant helps Dreamplex bring adaptive programs, equipment, and opportunities directly into the community
September 2, 2026 (Clermont, FL) - Keep an eye out on the roads of Central Florida - the Dreamplex is on the move!
Central Florida Dreamplex is celebrating the launch of its newly wrapped “Wheels of Inclusion” van, made possible through a $50,000 grant from the Live Well Foundation of South Lake, with additional support from The Magruder Foundation and FASTSIGNS of Clermont.
The new van will help Dreamplex transport adaptive equipment, staff, and program resources throughout the community, expanding access to adaptive sports, therapeutic education, vocational opportunities, and community outreach for individuals with disabilities and special needs.
The Live Well Foundation of South Lake awarded $50,000 to support the purchase of the multi-purpose van and expand Dreamplex’s ability to reach individuals and families throughout South Lake County. The Magruder Foundation also provided $5,000 toward the purchase of the van.
“This van represents so much more than transportation,” said Cameron Gomes, CEO of Central Florida Dreamplex. “It gives us the ability to take our mission beyond our walls and directly into the community. Every time people see this van on the road, we hope they see what is possible when a community comes together to create opportunities for individuals with disabilities.”
The newly completed wrap showcases Dreamplex’s adaptive sports programs and recognizes the community partners who helped make the project possible. FASTSIGNS helped bring the van’s design and visibility to life, turning it into a traveling representation of the Dreamplex mission.
The van is expected to support more than 40 community outreach events annually while helping reduce transportation and access barriers for children, adolescents, and adults with disabilities.
