FASTSIGNS of Fort Walton Beach, Fla., recently sponsored and wrapped a van for Motorcycle Riding Events of America (MRE) and the Santa Rosa County Sheriff's Department.
The design, created by Deputy Jake Palmer of Palmer Photography and Design, won the Florida Sheriff's Association contest through community votes. Featuring SRCSD Honor Guard members, the SRCSD Sheriff's Memorial monument, and an American flag motif, the wrap symbolizes freedom, patriotism, and unity.
“This project, self-funded by generous donors, holds significant meaning for SRCSD, MRE, and the FASTSIGNS team,” shared Shane Weddle, franchisee at FASTSIGNS. “The entire team really put in the work to make this project happen and could not be more proud to represent the State of Florida by being a part of this project.”
The van and Honor Guard will soon visit the State Capital in Tallahassee to be recognized by Governor Ron DeSantis. They will also travel nationwide to honor fallen officers, paying respects and showing solidarity.
Many team members who worked on this project are veterans, including Shane Forsman (US Marine Corps), Vera Andreia Brito De Sousa (US Air Force), Craig Orner (US Air Force), and FASTSIGNS of Fort Walton Beach franchisee, Shane Weddle (US Navy & Army National Guard). This award is a testament to their dedication and service.
