FASTSIGNS® of Kansas City, MO acquired a large format UV flatbed printer
(KANSAS CITY, Mo.) January 14, 2016 – Local sign and visual graphics provider FASTSIGNS® of Kansas City, MO recently purchased a new Canon/Océ Arizona 318 GL large format UV flatbed printer, expanding the center’s capabilities and improving production turnaround time.
“With the added capabilities of our new printer, we’ll be able to meet the demand for comprehensive marketing projects while maintaining our high quality standards and meeting tight deadlines,” said Janet Galapo, owner of FASTSIGNS® of Kansas City, MO. “We also remodeled our 1,500 square feet facility to accommodate the new printer and improve workflow.”
The center’s new flatbed printer can print directly to rigid or flexible media up to 2 inches thick with dimensions up to 4 feet by 8 feet. The printer’s imaging technology and white ink capability produces near-photographic images, double-sided prints, textured effects and matte or gloss finishes.
“The Canon/Océ Arizona large format printer allows us to provide our customers with even more creative visual graphic solutions for various applications including retail signage and point of purchase displays, back lit signs, specialty products, interior décor graphics and more,” Galapo said. “Whether its glass, ceramic tiles, aluminum, back-lit acrylic, fabric, retail displays, fine-art prints and more, whatever our customers need their message on, we can provide it.”
