FASTSIGNS® of Union, NJ, a locally owned and operated sign and graphics company, is now under new ownership under the direction of brothers and franchisees, George Ichkitidze and David Ichkitidze. The former franchisee, Mark Favaloro, is providing support during the transition over the next few months before his retirement from the center that was originally opened in 1989.
George has a background as an experienced consultant and project manager within the financial services industry. Most recently, he was employed as a management consultant where he worked with clients to deliver solutions. David brings experience in sales, management, marketing, education, relationship-building and customer service. The team also includes Jeff Barsnica, experienced Graphic designer and production specialist, who has worked in the center for five years.
“We decided to join a franchise, because we wanted to be in business for ourselves but not by ourselves,” said George Ichkitidze. “FASTSIGNS is a clear leader in the signs and graphics/visual communications industry.”
The new franchisees will be joining the Union Chamber of Commerce and a local BNI group to become active in the community and local events.
