The Challenge:
The City of Doral faced the massive task of transforming 78 acres of construction into a modern, navigable flagship park. Without a cohesive wayfinding system, the city needed a visual strategy to guide visitors, communicate regulations, and unify the vast space. The project required a partner capable of managing
large-scale production, complex permitting, and consistent branding across diverse outdoor environments and interior facilities.
The Solution:
FASTSIGNS® delivered an end-to-end management solution, dividing the park into four distinct, color-codedzones. The team designed and installed high impact LED monument signs at main entrances, including a digital display for real-time community information. Each zone was given a unique identity through custom-shaped monument signs that mirror the park’s branding, paired with directional signage to ensure seamless navigation.To further simplify the visitor journey, the team installed parking lot signage that utilizes the park’s color-coded icon system, allowing guests to identify their location and find their vehicles with ease. ADA-compliant room signage, regulatory displays, and decorative vinyl graphics were manufactured that elevated the aesthetic of every building. By managing everything from design and permitting to final installation alongside construction contractors, the FASTSIGNS team ensured every visual element contributed to a unified user experience.
The Result:
Doral Central Park is now a vibrant recreational facility that fosters community pride. By clearly defining the geography through intuitive wayfinding and directories, the signage system has maximized functionality and improved the visitor experience.
