Kaitlyn Fischer Wins Rookie of the Year Award
(FULLERTON, Calif.) August 31, 2021 – Kaitlyn Fischer, an Outside Sales Professional at FASTSIGNS® of Fullerton, CA and FASTSIGNS of Brea, recently received the Rookie of the Year Award at the 2021 FASTSIGNS Outside Sales Summit held virtually. This award recognizes an Outside Sales Professional who was hired in 2019 or 2020 with the highest total sales in their first full 12 months of employment.
In addition, Fischer also received the Platinum Sales Award for generating record sales. With over 750 independently owned and operated FASTSIGNS centers in eight countries worldwide, 24 Outside Sales Professionals in the network received this award.
Kaitlyn, a CalPoly SLO grad and events industry professional, formerly planned corporate events for C-Suite Leadership. After joining the family business atFASTSIGNS with her father and mother, Bob and Gaby, along with her husband, Aaron, Kaitlyn entered a sales and project management role. From corporate events to destination events, Kaitlyn has done it all. Events and projects are in Kaitlyn’s DNA, and her skill set transferred wonderfully to FASTSIGNS. She treats her sign projects in the same way she would an event by monitoring the project, budget and deadline. Her clients at FASTSIGNS benefit greatly from her creativity, problem-solving skills and understanding what the end user needs.

Kaitlyn grew up around her entrepreneurial mother. From the age of four, she was carrying around Gaby’s camera bag and eventually joined her on photoshoots. She learned how art and business come together, and after Gaby purchased the photo lab where she processed all her film, Kaitlyn was present and growing in her product knowledge. Today, Kaitlyn will often go on a call and then bring clients back to the center to experience what FASTSIGNS is truly capable of. Kaitlyn sees the value in giving the full experience to each and every customer.
“She makes it really fun to buy from her,” said Gaby. “She’s super quick, with a fun personality and takes the stress off the client. She’s always two steps ahead of her clients to anticipate what will be most helpful to them.”
Kaitlyn also has a mentor attitude and motivational mentality, so she enjoys training those under her. Through intern training and strategic planning, Kaitlyn has harnessed the power of technology to grow the business. Even more importantly, Kaitlyn cares for every person, and she strives to make sure that interns know they are valued.
Through their FASTSIGNS center, Kaitlyn and her family give back in their community, living out their core values every day. In addition to loving working with her husband, Aaron, Kaitlyn and Aaron are currently training for a half marathon, and they both enjoy inspiring and encouraging others on their health journey.
