Robert Acquaye, owner of FASTSIGNS® of Newark, NJ, was selected to participate in the 2016 Emerging Leaders Initiative, sponsored by the Small Business Administration: New Jersey.
The SBA Emerging Leaders Initiative is a seven month training program that focuses on executives of established businesses poised for growth in historically challenged communities. During the program, participants are given the opportunity to work with experienced mentors, attend specialized workshops and develop connections with peers, city leaders and the financial community. Under a competitive selection process, only 17 executives were selected to participate in New Jersey District’s Emerging Leadership Initiative for 2016.
“I’m honored to be selected to participate in the SBA Emerging Leaders Initiative and I look forward to the opportunity to exchange ideas with other CEOs and learn how to further develop my business,” Acquaye said. “Over the next seven months, I hope to reenergize with new ideas and establish a strong outlook for my FASTSIGNS business. In becoming a stronger business owner, I hope to strengthen and inspire others in the community as well.”
