FASTSIGNS of Syracuse, NY designed, fabricated and installed custom interior signage, ADA-compliant wayfinding, and environmental graphics for CenterState CEO's INSPYRE Innovation Hub during its 90,000-square-foot expansion.
The Challenge:
CenterState CEO’s INSPYRE Innovation Hub in Syracuse, New York, a major 90,000-square-foot incubator for advanced drone manufacturing and AI, underwent a massive multi-floor architectural expansion. Having managed their original branding 11 years prior, FASTSIGNS® faced a multi-layered challenge: bringing highly sophisticated environmental graphics to life while navigating strict ADA regulatory compliance and the complex logistical timelines of a multi-tenant facility ahead of its grand opening.

The Solution:
When global hardware backorders threatened construction deadlines, the team conducted an immediate design audit and pivoted to high-end, direct-printed brushed Aluminum Composite Material (ACM) panels. Eleven oversized ACM signs were meticulously seamed, providing a sleek, modern finish down the corridors. In the main lobby, a vibrant, custom-engineered and curved wraparound backlit graphic as well as a recessed back-printed acrylic donor wall were integrated into the architectural layout to establish a striking first impression.

To maximize the facility's value, the team introduced a brilliant, forward-thinking approach to required navigation. They re-engineered the multi-layered, ADA-compliant room signs to feature a modular donor plate system with removable secondary faces. This flexible update transformed standard, required room labels into a functional sponsorship tool, empowering the client to monetize spaces and effortlessly update room naming rights as new corporate backers come on board.

The Result:
This creative material pivot and focus on functional flexibility instilled total client confidence, prompting the hub to nearly double their total order volume mid-project. The finished installation successfully brought their high-tech vision to life, creating a cohesive visitor experience while providing a flexible donor recognition system that can be easily updated as sponsorships change.
