The Challenge:
Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre is a world-class destination, but its visitor center had not been updated in over 20 years. The City of Denver needed to modernize the space to match the prestige of the venue, requiring a complete visual overhaul that could tell the story of the park from its prehistoric roots to its status as the world’s premier outdoor music stage. The project presented
massive logistical hurdles, including working around active construction and a busy concert schedule. An additional hurdle involved navigating complex onsite conditions where installation methods often couldn’t be determined until the structure was finished.
The Solution:
FASTSIGNS® stepped in with a confident approach, allowing the construction team and design firm to focus on the build while experts handled the intricate fabrication and installation. Over a 12-month period, the team managed a massive scope of work that utilized a wide array of high-end materials. To solve budget and lead-time issues, FASTSIGNS innovated a custom
production process for the Hall of Fame by using dye sublimation prints, delivering a more vibrant and cost-
effective product than originally specified.
Inside the visitor center, Chromaluxe dye sublimation metal prints and direct UV-printed panels featuring dimensional acrylic elements immerse guests in the venue’s rich history. Versatile acrylic holders display rotating concert posters that keep the content fresh. Faux neon signage radiates a modern, musical energy throughout the space, while exterior aluminum cabinets and cast bronze plaques anchor the park’s branding and guide visitors through the rugged Colorado landscape. Each meticulously finished piece performs with durabilityand style, ensuring a seamless visual experience from the parking lot to the Hall of Fame.

the City of Denver. The visitor center is now perfectly in sync with the rest of the iconic park, and the project’s success has already led to additional orders for other venue areas. This confirms that the new visual identity successfully honors the legacy of Red Rocks.
