Uplifting Signs and Graphics Bring Renewal

The Challenge:

Rivers Crossing Church wanted to expand on the church’s interior decor and style in their new wing and additional location.

The Solution:

The team at FASTSIGNS® collaborated with the church team to not only include original materials but enhance the space by incorporating an upgraded look across 408 square feet of work. On the exterior of Rivers Crossing church, a retro-fitted monument sign was installed that featured information and service times.

Inside, the FASTSIGNS team highlighted the different age groups throughout the church space with dimensional letters on various-colored, floor to ceiling wall graphics. The team installed ½” thick acrylic with reverse-printed second surface applied graphic on the wall with standoffs and dimensional restroom icons. The check-in station featured dimensional letters that were easy-to-read for wayfinding purposes. The Rivers Crossing Logo and Welcome lettering in a dimensional format were hung in the entryway.

Inside the sanctuary, stadium seating was updated with acrylic letters designating each row. Informational graphics were also incorporated into their high-visibility areas to show parishioners how their group efforts are helping their outreach challenges. FASTSIGNS added an interactive, magnetic map with dimensional, movable pieces as well a mission statement included on an acrylic panel. Goal descriptions were placed on standoffs near the Join the Movement panel on this wall. Another wall featured a background wall graphic with a map of Cincinnati with dimensional lettering #FORCINCY installed on top.

Wayfinding signs throughout the classroom area were installed and hung near corresponding rooms, designating age groups and one triangular-shaped sign with branded colors and the Rivers Crossing Church logo included was hung from the ceiling to designate the New Family Registration area.

In the Church Merch section, dimensional letters were used to designate the area with a creative definition of what church merchandise is. Inside the Church merch station was a floor to ceiling wall graphic with a quote about their work on top of a geometric and colorful background on the wall. Several Church Merch signs with dimensional letters were installed near this area. One included a definition of the term with framed t-shirts underneath to observe.

Not far from this area, backlit signs that highlighted a theme word were also featured on the Word of the Year wall. FASTSIGNS also enhanced a glass divider between a reception area and a meeting room with frosted vinyl on the first surface top and bottom with gray vinyl on the reverse to create the word Prayer. White vinyl was then applied to the second surface on the backside to make the word readable.

The Nitro Bar for coffee lovers was signified with dimensional letters installed and coffee info and type of coffee included on standoffs below. Behind the coffee bar, another sign was installed as a focal point that highlighted the impact behind purchasing a cup of coffee.

The Result:

In their new location, the comprehensive sign and graphics solution assisted in kicking off their grand opening in a robust way. The monument sign informed the community that a new church had arrived. The museum-quality acrylic pieces, wall murals and dimensional elements really showed the community that the church was making quite a significant investment in their community outreach and children programs, not just in church services.
