FASTSIGNS and AccuPrint Center Now in Avondale Neighborhood
(BIRMINGHAM, AL) Feb. 3, 2021 - With their continued commitment to service the local business landscape, FASTSIGNS® of Downtown Birmingham and AccuPrint recently relocated to 4245 1st Avenue North, in the Avondale neighborhood. With growing needs to service their clients, they began the relocation process before the pandemic.
They officially moved into their new location in October 2020. Larger than their former space, with an increase of 2,000 to 10,000 square feet, the center now allows onsite parking, which is more convenient for customers. They also now have an indoor vehicle bay for applying vehicle wraps. The team has also increased with the addition of two new employees.
“It has been a bittersweet move after being located on 1st and 20th for nearly 45 years,” said Bobby George, franchisee at FASTSIGNS. “We were so limited by our space and the types of signage and printing we could produce, and this move has opened up so many opportunities for us to grow and expand our capabilities.”
FASTSIGNS was co-branded with AccuPrint in 2015 with an overarching goal that influenced their decision in looking for a new space for their business location.
“When we purchased the franchise in 2015 to co-brand with AccuPrint, we decided to focus on downtown Birmingham and made the commitment to service this city,” said Margie George, franchisee. “Dedicated to staying inside Birmingham, we have had the amazing opportunity over the years to assist local businesses and organizations with all of their visual communication needs.”
Margie worked diligently with the Birmingham Airport Authority to obtain a DBE certificate, which was issued by the Alabama Department of Transportation after FASTSIGNS/AccuPrint was vetted with financial and business qualifications. In addition FASTSIGNS/AccuPrint is also HUBZone certified and happy to work with anyone who needs to meet their spending goals.
