The Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Volusia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Inc joined together to sign a memorandum of support.
Both chambers of commerce actively serve their respective members and agree that forming a more formal partnership is ideal for the business community. The Daytona Regional Chamber’s Chairman of the Board, Len Marinaccio, Bomar Construction Company, expressed that “over the past year the Daytona Regional Chamber has established additional programming through our Equity Diversity and Inclusion Council, led by Carmen Ruiz, FASTSIGNS® of Daytona Beach, FL, and a partnership with the Volusia Hispanic Chamber allows us to bring two recognized chambers of commerce together to promote programs and events across the region.” He added “we recognize that collectively we offer businesses the opportunity to engage in a more inclusive atmosphere and look forward to further collaboration.”
The Partnership Agreement offers members of both organizations’ cross promotion and attendance at respective events and programs. “Collectively the impact of this partnership will elevate the many resources and opportunities for our communities. We are grateful for the Leadership of the Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce and the recognition of the importance of diversity and inclusion with our growing Hispanic market,” stated Joseph Hearn, Vice President Volusia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
