The one thing that is constant is change. This is true in every industry, especially healthcare where mergers are common and the needs of surrounding communities evolve. UofL Health has seen many changes over the years, but continues to serve. Here is a look at one of their more recent rebranding projects.
UofL Health finalized a significant expansion, growing the already impressive healthcare organization to include five hospitals, four medical centers, Frazier Rehab Institute, the Brown Cancer Center and hundreds of physician care offices.
FASTSIGNS® of Louisville worked with the VP of Operations, the Marketing department and the Facilities Engineering department to coordinate the large-scale project, which was divided into phases.
Hospital and healthcare signage is a multifaceted undertaking. Phase 1 (pictured here) focused on exterior updates, including channel letters, lighted cabinet signs, pylon and monument signs, entrance door branding and interior signs and graphics to promote the excitement of the coming changes.
The transformation went smoothly and efficiently, causing minimal disruption to hospital operations. The new signs and graphics helped provide a feeling of unity with the hospital staff while communicating to patients they were in trusted, capable hands. FASTSIGNS has continued to work with the UofL team for the additional phases to ensure the new branding of this medical system is consistent from the inside out.
